Where does therapy take place?

Depending on the preferences and circumstances of the family and distance, therapy may occur in the child or adult's home, child's daycare or school, or provided via teletherapy.

Why would my child need therapy through this practice if they get services in school?

Additional services and different approaches may produce faster and longer lasting progress. Studies have shown that a higher frequency in therapy is likely to produce quicker progress. Also, individualized one-on-one therapy allows for more personalized, structured, and attentive experience. Different goals may also be addressed at our practice than in schools.
